Application:

Pladur Perfect Airless Fine Finish Compound is a finishing compound for Pladur system partitions and ceilings leaving a fine white finish that does not require painting. It can be used with colour dyes and, as it has the properties of a filler and primer, can also be used to provide a base layer for coats of paint. It is usually applied on a dry and sanded layer of Pladur Perfect Airless Multi-purpose Compound, although it can be applied directly to the board without exceeding a thickness of 0.7 mm for each layer, otherwise it may peel off. Apply several coats for thicker layers, leaving each one to dry before the next. As this is a finishing compound, it hardens considerably on drying, hence it is slow to sand. Therefore it is important for the surface of application to be perfectly prepared, clean and flat. The result is visibly smoother than roller painting.
