Creation of the Pladur® brand.

We began production at our first plant in Spain.
Since we began in 1978, Pladur® has been innovating, designing and promoting sustainable construction solutions based on natural gypsum plaster for over 40 years. Our aim is to create comfortable and safe indoor spaces, offering outstanding supply and customer services.
We are defined as a market leader over the last 40 years, a pioneer in installation of laminated plasterboard in Spain. Pladur® offers high quality construction systems that comply with the regulatory requisites thanks to rigorous tests and guarantees, according to the different technical requisites: fire resistance, insulation and acoustic insulation, and thermal insulation.

We have established our prestige thanks to achieving an ample distribution network and close relations with our clients, while raising the excellence of the service by making our products even more competitive, if that is possible. The Pladur® brand is our proprietary quality seal and our sign of identity is our main competitive advantage
Our production centre in Valdemoro, Madrid, has the most advanced industrial technology to manufacture laminated plasterboard construction systems. That is where we manufacture the components of our Pladur® construction systems: boards, continuous ceilings, drop ceilings, profiles and compounds.

Our production capacity is 90 million square metres of plasterboard.
Our team is formed by more than 500 exceptional people.
We now have 9 factories and are present in more than 40 countries.
It has taken us a lot of work to become leaders on the Spanish market.
